The Partnership for School Readiness has adopted a holistic definition of readiness,
which includes the role families, schools, and communities play in supporting
children as they develop the skills needed to succeed in the school
environment. The Partnership has published a number of reports, including: 

• NEW! “I’m Ready for Kindergarten"(english)  (spanish) provides tips for parents and caregivers on how to help children prepare for school. This pamphlet also has a list of Santa Clara County resources that will provide parents with answers to questions about their child’s development.  It is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin. Hard copies can be ordered by contacting molly@first5kids.org
