Mentor a high school student overcoming challenges in San Jose. Support their strengths and empower them to increase their confidence and boost their self-esteem while encouraging them to embrace a healthy life style and being a friend.

One-on-one for 1 hour a month at a convenient time and place
Check-in phone call with mentee once a week
Monday-Friday after-school and evenings
7 month commitment
Tutor high school students after school in San Jose. Support students to set them on a path to college with reading, writing, math and other subjects of your choice

One-on-one for 1 hour a week
Monday-Friday
4pm-7:30pm time slots
12 Week commitment

- People who are open to working with high school students and helping them succeed
- People with college education who have high expectations for students
- Good listening and communication skills
- Ability to relate to teenagers
- Experience working with a diverse community.
