Western Digital Corporate Spotlight

Thank You Western Digital.

This year, Western Digital’s Foundation and employees raised $1.4M dollars for California communities. Of this million dollar campaign, $377,000 was raised for local Santa Clara County schools and nonprofit partners, including $141,000 that went to support United Way Silicon Valley’s Community Action Fund. Beyond their annual giving campaign, WD employees also volunteered their time to address local community conditions. WD teams in Santa Clara County participated in several volunteer projects such as food drives and home renovations in low income communities. Recently, a team of Western Digital employees volunteered to judge science projects at Dorsa Elementary School’s annual Science Fair in East San Jose.
 
WD President and CEO, John Coyne hosted an Engineering Day to recognize his employees and communicate United Way’s mission and vision. His tireless leadership, support and generosity are truly appreciated. The company’s employees are continuing to impact lives in the communities they work in.
