Credit Coaching Program Specialist
Job Summary
The Credit Coaching Program Specialist is responsible for providing overall coordination for the United Way Credit Coaching program.  Credit Coaching is a component of United Way Silicon Valley's Financial Stability Partnership, which is focused on realistic solutions that increase financial stability and long-term economic independence for individuals and families.  Credit Coaching provides a rewarding skill-based volunteer opportunity for interested community members while also providing needed financial mentoring to low-income individuals and families in Santa Clara County.  The goal of Credit Coaching is for trained volunteers to support individuals and families in the community to improve their credit and financial management skills using existing free web-based tools. The Program Specialist will develop, coordinate and implement the different elements of the United Way Credit Coaching program including outreach & marketing, volunteer recruitment, training & deployment, and participant activities.  In addition, the Program Specialist will support the Director of Income Programs & Community Engagement with the necessary documentation related to program administration and grant reporting.
