2016 Read Across America Day

"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."
(Theodor Seuss Geisel, writer and cartoonist, most widely known for his children's books written under his pen name, Dr. Seuss)

Join us and spend an hour reading with children!
Read Across America Day, observed each year in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, is a day dedicated to celebrating reading. Dr. Seuss epitomizes a love of learning and by celebrating his birthday we send a clear message to children that reading is fun and important.
